Equipment we consider everything that a character can wear. Armor, Trinkets, Weapons etc.

Equipment is essential in growing your character beyond his base stats, which in turn means you won't have a hard time going through a quest and failing. After all if you fail you will only know about it at the end of the quest and your only guarantee is that your Win Percentage is high enough. To ensure that you will need to equip your character with equipment, which you will be able to either purchase, get through airdrops or craft yourself. No monster is gonna wait for your character to eat his vegetables to grow, you will need a bigger sword eventually. So make sure you hold onto resources you find or buy them of our vendors or from other players selling them.
